چکیده

Regasification systems in Floating Storage Units (FSRUs) that use the steam generated by boilers as heat source (closed loop) liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification process are less detrimental to marine environment than those seawater (open loop). Their drawback, however, lies significant increase fuel consumption and, thus, CO2 emissions. The present paper performs an energy, exergy and environmental analysis of a novel closed-loop system for FSRUs integrates organic Rankine cycle (ORC) post-combustion capture with 30 wt% aqueous solution monoethanolamine (MEA). LNG cold energy is utilised power generation through ORC well processes capture, compression, drying liquefaction. proposed able meet electrical demand FSRU without dual engines, while efficiency boiler flue gases exceeds 90%. Fuel cut 18% this comparison existing systems, increases 14%, emissions decrease approximately 75% compared open-loop commonly installed on board.

Mathieu Stability of Offshore Buoyant Leg Storage and Regasification Platform

Increasing demand for large-sized Floating, Storage and Regasification Units (FSRUs) for oil and gas industries led to the development of novel geometric form of Buoyant Leg Storage and Regasification Platform (BLSRP). BLSRP consists of a circular deck supported by six buoyant legs placed symmetrically with respect to wave direction. Circular deck is connected to buoyant legs using hinged joint...

Data on conceptual design of cryogenic energy storage system combined with liquefied natural gas regasification process

This paper describes data of an integrated process, cryogenic energy storage system combined with liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification process. The data in this paper is associated with the article entitled "Conceptual Design and Exergy Analysis of Combined Cryogenic Energy Storage and LNG Regasification Processes: Cold and Power Integration" (Lee et al., 2017) [1]. The data includes the ...

wuthering heights and the concept of marality/a sociological study of the novel

to discuss my point, i have collected quite a number of articles, anthologies, and books about "wuthering heights" applying various ideas and theories to this fantastic story. hence, i have come to believe that gadamer and jauss are rightful when they claim that "the individaul human mind is the center and origin of all meaning," 3 that reading literature is a reader-oriented activity, that it ...

Parametric Assessment of a Novel Geothermal Multi-Generation Equipped with Dual-Organic Rankine Liquefied Natural Gas Regasification Cycle Using Advanced Exergy and Exergoeconomic-Based Analyses

This research is concerned with the design and analysis of a geothermal based multi-generation system by applying both conventional and advanced exergy and exergoeconomic concepts. The proposed energy system consists of a dual-organic Rankine cycle (ORC) to vaporize liquefied natural gas (LNG) and produce electricity. A proton exchange membrane(PEM) electrolyzer is employed to produce hydrogen ...
